Venice With Kids
The trip begins with two nights in Venice, where the goal is to experience the city's magic without overloading the family's first days in Italy. The itinerary pairs St. Mark's Basilica with plenty of time to wander, a gondola ride from the hotel, and carefully chosen meals—all while staying within easy reach of Piazza San Marco.
Florence With Kids
From Venice, the family travels by train to Florence for two nights. The itinerary mixes the city's essential sights with experiences chosen specifically to keep younger travelers engaged: seeing Michelangelo's David at the Accademia, exploring Florence on foot, and visiting the interactive Leonardo da Vinci Museum. Built-in hotel and pool time keeps the pace manageable, while an adults-only dinner gives the parents a night of their own.
Slowing Down in Tuscany
The final stretch trades city sightseeing for the Tuscan countryside at Il Borro. Here, the itinerary intentionally shifts gears with horseback riding, truffle hunting, a cooking lesson, village walks, and time to simply enjoy the property. Ending in the countryside creates breathing room after Venice and Florence—and gives the entire family a very different experience of Italy.
